Nothing says comfort food like winter, but especially in this challenging time! Ina herself is comforting, and her dishes always look delicious. Here she’s putting a modern spin on some favorites, and the recipes are a great way to spend some time together in the kitchen. At our house, I’m usually the cook, and my husband is the dishwasher. I’m a book person through and through, but my husband gave me a Kindle Paperwhite years ago, and I love it! In a time where we are barely leaving the house, let alone traveling, books are a wonderful escape. And while nothing will replace a shelf full of books, the Kindle does have a lot of pros! It is lightweight and holds tons of books at once, which makes it great for travel. It also has an adjustable light for a variety of reading environments, i.e. you can read in bed at night without disturbing your partner, or finish a few chapters on a beautiful, sunny beach with no glare! One day we’ll be back on that beautiful, sunny beach.
